Alouette Cheese USA, New Holland, PA

The Alouette Cheese facility comprises two buildings; the main production plant of 63,300 square feet, and the warehouse of 58,000 square feet, of which 22,000 is refrigerated.  The production plant regularly operates five days per week and sometimes on Saturday.

EE&D provided an energy audit that identified 10 energy conservation measures with an installed cost of $490,125, and energy cost savings of $146,200, resulting in a net simple payback of 3.35 years.
